Abigail Reynolds

Abigail founded Reynolds Attorneys in 2011, a boutique, modern law firm which offers expert senior attorneys’ services for accessible fees.

She graduated with a BA.LLB (finishing on the Dean’s Merit List) and a Masters of Laws in Commercial Law, specialising in Commercial Law, from the University of Cape Town, which she achieved with distinction.

She completed her articles at Cliffe Dekker (now DLA Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr) and went on to practice as an attorney at Bernadt Vukic Potash & Getz specialising in corporate and commercial law.

She then worked at Investec Private Bank in the Growth & Acquisition Division where she oversaw the collation and drafting of the legal documents required to extend loans to private companies in relation to corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, B-BBEE and preference share-related transactions. She was exposed to numerous corporate financing structures.

She qualified as a mediator in 2016, and gained invaluable mediation experience offering pro bono mediation services once monthly for 3 years at the Wynberg Childrens’ Court in Cape Town. She now focusses on corporate, commercial and company law mediations.

Abigail is the Deputy-Chairperson on the Law Society of South Africa: Company Law Matters Committee, and a member of the Western Cape Society of Mediators. 

She is an avid volunteer, volunteering as deck crew at the NSRI Simonstown base, doing alien plant removal with, and on the committee of, the Friends of Silvermine Nature Area non profit, and as a dog walker at TEARS Animal Rescue Centre.
